TraceLink is seeking an experienced Solution Consultant to support our growing Global organization.  The Solution Consultant is the primary industry, solution and technical subject matter expert during the selling process, supporting TraceLink's Account Executives in evangelizing, demonstrating and proving the value of our solutions to business and technical users as well as C level executives. 

 

The Solution Consultants utilize industry knowledge, discovery techniques and understanding of client needs, to develop compelling value value-based solutions for our customers.  Successful candidates must have proven experience in solution and consultative/value selling techniques for new opportunities at new and existing customers.  

 

The candidate will be part of the Global Solution Consultants team focused primarily on DACH based opportunities and must have the ability to work well independently and within a team. They must have excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and German, and be able to present TraceLink’s solutions to business users and technical experts at all levels of the customer organization.

  • Gather and assess client’s business needs and technical requirements and define the appropriate solutions
  • Work with the sales team to develop and support the client relationships throughout the customer journey
  • Address customer’s questions in a clear and comprehensive manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide inputs to the RFP process, when required.
  • Provide customer specific industry domain expertise during the sales process
  • Conduct solutions workshops as part of the sales process
  • Ability to identify customer challenges and quantify the associated value of the TraceLink solutions
  • Manage and deliver compelling product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Work with product management, internal services teams and external solution/services partners to optimize client value
  • Provide consistent and effective communication, both internally and externally.

  • College degree or equivalent professional experience preferred in a Solution Consulting, Business Consulting, Sales Engineering or Business Development client facing role
  • 5+ years of solution consulting experience in a SaaS based environment
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to present both business and technical topics to individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Proven consultative and value-based selling skills and experience.
  • Strong sales instincts and enjoys speaking with prospective clients in all stages of the sales cycle
  • Must have a demonstrated track record of sales achievement, technical competence and customer satisfaction
  • Must be fluent in both written and spoken German, as well as English
