The Facility Manager will manage the day to day operation and maintenance of the corporate facility in a safe, fiscally responsible and compliant manner. The Facility Manager is expected to provide analytics and contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic plan of the company for maintaining and operating facility or facilities. The position is responsible for the mentoring, work performance and technical development of the corporate facility personnel. Lead and manage all facility projects, events and services, with optimal efficiency, through effective communication, supervision and leadership. The Facility Manager is expected to operate autonomously and professionally in all areas of responsibility, and with all levels.



  • Manage daily operations within budget, including supervision of personnel, maintenance functions and office equipment/items installation.
  • Assure facility is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive facilities plan and analytics for existing headcount and future growth.
  • Oversee, manage and develop reception and other facility personnel
  • Manage facility security surveillance and badge ID systems.
  • Evaluate, purpose, implement and maintain facility related software systems.
  • Prepare facilities budget.
  • Maintain and negotiate facility service contracts.
  • Coordinate with IT on infrastructure needs, installation, and establishment of needed services.
  • Manage and supervise all expansion projects including design, construction and equipment and furniture needs.
  • Knowledge of CAD designs, blueprints and layouts for optimal space utilization
  • Strategic Source vendors and contractors.
  • Manage submittal and RFP process.
  • Act as liaison with property management on all building activities.
  • Interface with all departments to ensure facility needs are provided and operating properly with little to no disruption in service.
  • Implement and maintain processes to manage facility supplies, stock inventory, and order consumables.
  • Oversee facility equipment purchases, including price negotiation, shipping and installation.
  • Provide facility analytics and maintain facilities projects budget, scope and schedule
  • Ensure equipment/product deliverables meet quality standards
  • Contract, Service and lease management
  • Create vital proposal content including scope and budget for projects
  • Other technical / managerial tasks as assigned


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelors of Science or Engineering degree preferred.
  • Five (5) years of experience managing corporate facility maintenance and space utilization.
  • Knowledge of building mechanical (HVAC), and plumbing systems and other related facility systems/equipment in a corporate office environment.
  • Experience managing building surveillance and badge security systems, implementation and maintenance.
  • Project management skills
  • A proven track record of providing analytics, planning and executing multiple projects and events.
  • Technical/construction experience and working knowledge relevant to office space expansion to all phases of project design, IT needs, execution and commissioning.
  • Ability to identify and communicate all IT technical aspects to office expansion and alteration needs.
  • Experience interpreting and manage vendor contracts, leases and service agreements.
  • Ability to obtain, identify and provide specifications and analytical calculations for projects.
  • Ability to strategy source, create, execute and manage RFP’s, negotiate and manage vendors.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, CAD, specifications and sketches.
  • Familiarity with building codes and other government regulations.
  • Experience with financial analysis, project planning and budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage a diverse portfolio of space utilization and construction projects.
  • Ability to work independently without constant or close supervision
  • Proven record of managing, training and develop reception and other facility service personnel
  • Experience with a variety of personalities and discipline fields and able to manage and react to ongoing and changing operational requirements
  • Excellent communication skills including technical writing, presentation skills and ability to interface with all levels of management and diverse staff and guests.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Project, Access, AutoCAD and other job related computer programs.
  • Some travel required
