    TraceLink is seeking a full-time, experienced “Technical Consultant” to join our team.


    The Technical Consultant is a key resource on the project implementation team and is responsible for executing technical deliverables for customer and partner integrations in the TraceLink Life Sciences Cloud. This role requires a combination of technical and interpersonal skills to be successful.

    Specific responsibilities include:


    • Configure customer environments using TraceLink best practices.
    • Design and document business processes to identify appropriate TraceLink configuration, integration points and event triggers.
    • Write technical design documents where required.
    • Provide subject matter expertise on TraceLink’s data interfaces.
    • Review, create, edit and test customer interfaces in various formats (CSV, XML, IDOC, EDI etc.).
    • Support user testing activities such as troubleshooting, reading error messages and ensuring the expected results are delivered.
    • Provide subject matter expertise on how global government regulations impact TraceLink configurations.
    • Log bugs and product enhancements into the TraceLink tracking systems.
    • Provide deliverable status updates to the Implementation Project Manager in a timely, consistent and professional manner.
    • Contribute to Professional Services best practices.



    • Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
    • BS/BA technical degree or equivalent experience.
    • Ability to read, parse and manipulate various technical formats such as XML, EDI and CSV.
    • Working knowledge of B2B technologies such as AS2, SFTP and Web Services.
    • Highly self-motivated; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, yet also work independently on complex problems.
    • 1 - 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably within technology organizations.
    • A demonstrated understanding of when and how to be flexible, and when and how to be firm.
    • Working knowledge of MS Project, Visio and MS Office products.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extremely high standards for documentation.
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (0 - 25% travel requirement).


    • Additional European languages (German preferred).
    • Knowledge of supply chain business processes including distribution, logistics, warehousing and serialization.
    • Working knowledge of UNIX and/or JAVA is preferred.
    • Life Sciences experience.
