    The Opportunity:
    TraceLink is seeking a full-time, experienced Senior Manager of User Experience Design who will be responsible for managing a team of UX designers in the design of engaging web and mobile experiences across TraceLink’s family of cloud-based Track and Trace, Supply Chain, IoT, Digital Health, and Analytics applications. Experience with designing applications used in an enterprise setting is a must. You will serve as a leader who liaises and influences cross-functionally with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Documentation, and QA peers to prioritize, drive design and design strategy, and deliver optimal user experiences on an ambitious roadmap. You will be responsible for defining priorities, managing design schedules and resource allocation across multiple work-streams, and own design quality and consistency across our entire product ecosystem. This position reports to the SVP of Product Management.


    • Lead and guide the development of a team of UX designers, to help tap into their full potential
    • Advocate for UX Design and serve as a mentor for the team
    • Maintain and evolve systems and structures to support designing intuitive and shippable product experiences in an agile development environment, leveraging TraceLink UX design standards and industry best practices
    • Provide customer focused leadership by working closely with the business and product teams to develop a UX strategy that ensures alignment across our brands
    • Lead discussions with cross-functional teams and senior leadership, including presentation of proposals, recommendations, and UX plans
    • Champion a customer-centric approach to user experience design
    • Engage with customers on product designs to garner feedback
    • Establish formal usability testing strategy
    • Provide full hands-on design work as needed, iteratively creating interaction flows, wireframes, visuals, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications
    • Translate complex operations and high volume data into elegant user experiences delivered across multiple channels (web and mobile)
    • Lead cross-functional design reviews for all necessary deliverables
    • Incorporate data-driven insights to guide UX strategy
    • Provide regular status updates on the UX design against the roadmap



    Skills and Requirements:
    • 10+ years experience in UX Design
    • 5+ years management experience with minimally 5-6 direct reports under your guidance and leadership
    • Proven ability to work in a matrix team environment and demonstrate thought leadership
    • Demonstrated ability to make tradeoffs, anticipate staffing needs, risks, and ensure frequent and clear communication
    • Experience in designing applications used in an enterprise setting
    • Demonstrate a portfolio of work with a proven track record for solving difficult UX design problems and simplifying difficult business process to intuitive interfaces for customers
    • Experience creating services and applications with multiple user touchpoints on different platforms and devices
    • Ability to conceptualize, design and deliver superior customer experiences
    • Ability to communicate user needs and demonstrate how proposed designs solve those to internal team and other stakeholders
    • Deep knowledge of full user experience design process and ability to contribute at any level
    • Capable of wading into the details, but can also drive 30k foot view
    • Strong experience using Agile processes and delivering UX designs using iterative approach
    • Ability to manage people and processes
    • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
    • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • History of on-time, quality delivery
    • BS or MS degree in a design related field, or equivalent professional experience
