    Project Manager 

    TraceLink is seeking a full-time, experienced Project Manager to coordinate our product release activities. Project Managers are responsible for working with cross-functional teams to determine release/project scope and shepherd those projects from inception to final release, all while balancing customer delivery requirements against available resources and risk.     • Facilitate daily bug triage meeting. Identify and keep track of customer timing requests for various incidents logged.
    • Schedule and facilitate cross functional release push meetings
    • Steward release features and fixes through lifecycle (focus on documentation and approvals)
    • Executive-level communications of program and individual project status
    • Project management for all sizes and types of projects
    • Work independently to manage cross-program initiatives and projects
    • Lead project meetings to collect status and drive actions to completion
    • Provide regular status updates and escalate issues to the management team for active projects and releases that they own
    • Identify and raise visibility to any critical issues that are at risk for not being addressed in a release in accordance with customer expectations
    • Document processes and procedures for use within the product management group to ensure consistency across the team members
    • Establish metrics and KPIs for projects and drive changes that will influence positive measures
    • Identify and improve project release processes when and where appropriate
    • Ensure that engineering (development and quality), services, compliance, product management, operations, security and other groups are represented at release planning activities
    • Work with other members of the product management team to ensure feature requests and fixes are being evaluated and prioritized in a timely manner
    • Drive effective teamwork and collaboration across multiple groups with competing priorities
    • Escalate issues when appropriate to management for resolution when the cross functional teams are unable to arrive at a mutually agreeable solution relating to product release schedules and scope
    • Perform other duties as required
    • Up to 5% travel required



    • Technical degree (engineering and/or computer science preferred)
    • Proven experience as a Project/Program Manager or other managerial position
    • 3+ years of experience managing complex cross functional technology projects
    • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
    • Experience working in a distributed team environment
    • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
    • Software company experience where SaaS and/or cloud deployment environments are used


    Desirable areas:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as presentation and group dynamics skills
    • Past experience in a fast paced software environment
    • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
    • Demonstrate exceptional critical thinking, strategic planning, and process management skills
    • Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
    • Knowledge of Mobile Application development
    • Familiar with supply chain concepts related to shipping and receiving
    • Familiar with various content management systems
    • Familiar with Jira or other bug tracking tools
    • Familiarity with Six Sigma and Scrum
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
