    TraceLink is seeking an IT co-op for Spring Semester 2019 (with possible extension) that will assist Corporate IT with day-to-day operations and special projects. This dynamic environment will provide the individual with a wide variety of technologies and solutions in a high-growth, global, cloud-first company.

    Expected activities the individual will contribute to include:

    • Build and deploy Windows and Mac laptops for end users
    • Peripheral setup for end users (cube setup and breakdown)
    • Interaction with end users to troubleshoot IT issues
    • Create phone extensions
    • Create user accounts in Active Directory
    • Manage and update equipment inventory
    • Create and update process, procedure, and technical documentation
    • Maintain and improve the IT intranet site
    • Access control system changes (badge issuance, changes)
    • Other tasks as assigned

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma and currently enrolled in an accredited college program with course work related to the internship or general knowledge normally obtained through the completion of a college degree
    • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
    • Ability to work 40 hours per week
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills
    • Strong documentation skills
    • Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required
    • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
    • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
    • Highly self-motivated and directed
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highly dynamic, fast changing, and fluid work environment
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
    • Knowledge of basic computer hardware
    • Experience with Windows 7/10; experience with macOS and Chromebooks a plus
    • Basic knowledge of office productivity applications (Microsoft Office/Office 365, Google G Suite, Acrobat, etc.)
    • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and general networking a plus
    • Prior experience/rotation as an IT intern or co-op a plus
