    The Opportunity:

    TraceLink is seeking a full-time, experienced Manager of Product Management who will drive the vision, product roadmap and execution of TraceLink’s cloud-based Analytics Platform and Applications. You will lead a team of Analytics Product Managers, Data Scientists, and UX Visualization Experts to define TraceLink’s Analytics Platform and Applications against our plan in collaboration with Architects, Development, Quality Engineering, and User Experience peers; making tradeoffs, anticipating staffing needs, risks, and ensure frequent and clear communication internally and with customers. TraceLink is seeking an experienced professional with a solid techincal background in analytics and a track record of using this analytics background to gain Supply Chain optimizations and efficiencies, who is looking for a fast-paced opportunity with a rapidly growing cloud company. This position reports to the Director, Platform and Analytics Product Management.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide Supply Chain domain expertise to the Product Mangers, Data Scientists, and User Experience/Visualization team members
    • Drive and build consensus for the product strategy and roadmap with cross-functional peers and Business Management
    • Lead discussions with cross-functional teams and senior leadership, including presentation of proposals, recommendations, product plans, and business cases
    • Lead and guide the development of a team of Product Managers, Data Scientists, and UX Visualization Experts and help them do their best work
    • Conduct design reviews of use cases and user product designs with Product Management, UX Design, Engineering and QA
    • Participate in scheduling, coordinating and planning releases with Program Management, UX Design, Documentation, Engineering and QA Teams
    • Work collaboratively with Solution Marketing, Business Management and Solutions Consulting to assist with the go-to-market for the analytic based applications
    • Champion a customer-centric approach to building analytic applications that takes into consideration customer supply chain, serialization, and compliance reporting business challenges
    • Engage with customers to review product ideas and direction to garner feedback
    • Work with Product Managers from the application teams to understand the data that can be made available for the analytics data lake
    • Mentor Product Managers on defining MVP and controlling scope to ensure we deliver on the most critical business needs across a suite of analytic based applications
    • Work with Product Managers to identify, track and report on dependencies across teams
    • Drive the analytics platform capabilities to meet the needs of analytic based applications
    • Provide regular status updates on the product direction and delivery against the roadmap
    • Up to 20% travel required

    Skills and Requirements:

    • 5+ years experience in Product Management
    • 5+ years of management experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership
    • Supply Chain knowledge, preferably in the Pharmaceutical industry
    • Experience managing, prioritizing, and delivering a product portfolio to meet strategic goals
    • Experience building and releasing scalable analytics platforms and partnering with Engineering teams
    • Ability to manage people and processes
    • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, and ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives
    • Understanding of technical architecture of complex and highly scalable analytics platforms
    • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Capable of backing up team members by creating requirements documents and user stories when needed
    • Experience making difficult prioritization decisions
    • History of on-time, quality delivery
    • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field

    Helpful Skills and Experience:

    • Experience with SQL databases, NoSQL, and Hadoop environments
    • Experience with Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Looker
    • Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning tools, packages and languages such as Python scikit, R, SAS, Spark MLlib or TensorFlow
    • Experience in Agile processes
    • Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
    • GxP Best Practices
    • Pharmaceutical industry knowledge
    • Supply chain
