    The QA Operations Team Lead is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and operation of our automated testing systems.  This includes our integration and performance testing tools, orchestration and reporting through Jenkins and TestRail, and working in partnership with Cloud Operations to design and deploy Amazon-based testing infrastructure best suited to our various testing strategies.

    You will:

    • Lead a team chartered with assessing and improving the automated testing systems in place today, seeking to improve efficiency, quality of output, and reduce infrastructure cost
    • Work with QA Management to improve and develop new reporting capabilities, allowing for at-a-glance understanding of the state of current builds vs. prior builds
    • Optimize our use of Amazon resources, ensuring that we meet our testing goals as cost-effectively as possible
    • Help to drive best practices in our automated testing, increasing test performance, ease of maintenance, and fit with our business goals
      Work closely with our QA, Development, Release Engineering, and Cloud Ops teams
      Actively participate in the software development lifecycle


    Skills and Requirements:

    • 3-5 years of experience with automated testing systems
    • Experience managing or leading a team to accomplish shared goals
    • Experience in scripting (bash, ruby, python, etc.)
    • Experience with orchestration tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo
    • Experience with Amazon AWS deployment and services
    • Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and clearly, and
      collaborate with other disciplines
    • BS degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent required

    Helpful skills and experience:

    • Experience with software build and release best practices: version control, continuous integration, and software life cycle
    • Expierence working in an Agile Development enviroment
