    Product Manager - Sustaining Engineering


    TraceLink is seeking a full-time, experienced Product Manager to focus on supporting our cloud-based track and trace and serialization suite of applications. Product Managers are responsible for working with cross-functional teams and customers, managing products from cradle to grave, justifying new product development investments, determining and documenting new product requirements, and facilitating product rollout.     Responsibilities:


    •    Participate in bug triage and prioritization
    •    Investigate customer enhancement and feature requests
    •    Work with development, services and other product managers to determine solutions for customer use cases
    •    Provide product requirement definition for both onshore and offshore development teams
    •    Work with customers to understand new use cases for how they use or intend to use our product
    •    Review proposed solutions with product managers of the various application suites to ensure alignment with product direction and roadmap.
    •    Write user stories to support enhancement requests and new features across a wide range of products
    •    Serve as the voice of the customer during product design sessions
    •    Create and document product requirements and use cases
    •    Define product features and functions, and work closely with User Experience team on product UI design mockups
    •    Present product ideas and user interface designs to customers to garner feedback
    •    Conduct design reviews of use cases and user interface designs with Development, QA, Professional Services and other internal stakeholders
    •    Author and prioritize user stories for product features and functions
    •    Participate in scheduling, coordinating and planning product development releases with Development, Quality, Services, and Program Management
    •    Work closely with Development and QA to resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle
    •    Review and accept user stories upon completion of development and testing
    •    Serve as product expert; provide secondary support to Sales and Professional Services
    •    Work with Marketing to contribute to creation of marketing materials and messaging
    •    Provide demos and presentations to various stakeholders (e.g. Services) and customers
    •    Up to 10% travel required

    Skills and Requirements:


    •    Technical degree (engineering and/or computer science)
    •    3+ years of experience as a product manager or business analyst
    •    Software company experience where SaaS and/or cloud deployment environments are used

    Desirable areas:
    •    Knowledge of Serialization and GS1 Standards
    •    Manufacturing Serialization, knowledge of Line Management Systems (e.g. Optel Vision) and Enterprise Serialization Systems (AII, OER, ATTP)
    •    Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Supply chain shipping and receiving experience
    •    Product serialization knowledge and related technologies (EPCIS)
    •    Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
    •    Implementation or requirements definition experience with enterprise software
    •    Knowledge of SOAP and REST web service APIs and their application
