TraceLink is looking for a Senior Public Relations Manager who will be responsible for promoting the company’s vision, mission and expertise, and building awareness with key trade publications worldwide. This role is a fit for a motivated, team-oriented individual with a passion for life sciences and/or technology. The perfect candidate will have a strong background in media relations and deep experience in driving proactive communications strategies, with significant success in securing impactful stories in top-tier publications. Reporting into the Senior Director of Corporate Communications, the Senior Public Relations Manager is responsible for executing our global PR strategy and supporting the day to day programs, public relations agencies, and processes within the global PR program. This hands-on manager will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for the complete scope of planning, coordinating, executing and reporting for all PR activities with shared oversight of the North American and EMEA PR programs. This constant multi-tasker will drive global PR and high-level business/corporate initiatives with a focus on increasing company visibility through earned features & mentions in trade and business publications, social media and organic content.  


Responsibilities to include (but not limited to):


  • Support the Sr. Director of Corporate Communications in managing two PR agencies (US & EMEA) to create and manage corporate press releases, bylines, and other media placements with a heavy focus on execution, results & measurement
  • Manage distribution, communication, and posting of print and electronic coverage, internally and externally
  • Develop and publish compelling content for the TraceLink website
  • Develop and execute corporate social media strategy and maintain master calendar for integrated social media efforts
  • Manage industry-specific speaking and awards programs, with a focus on driving award and speaking submissions that promote innovation and thought leadership for the C-suite
  • Work collaboratively with Content Marketing and Demand Generation departments to ensure Corporate Communications materials are incorporated into Sales efforts
  • Present reports on overall communications strategies; evaluate results and propose future initiatives
  • Secure spokespeople for media interviews and opportunities, building an internal database of media spokespeople



  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field (e.g., Marketing, Public Relations, or Communication)
  • 8-10 years’ experience in public relations; solid mix of in-house and agency experiences preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure while managing strategic global projects
  • Energetic, positive, enthusiastic, and flexible team player
  • Works well independently and within a team environment
  • Well-developed collaboration skills and ability to effectively engage cross-functionally and with colleagues at all levels
  • Strong proficiency in Google Work Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint and Excel preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience creating and managing successful social media campaigns required
  • Strong intellectual agility and capacity for original thought but the willingness to roll up sleeves and execute
  • Basic understanding of life sciences and/or software industry helpful
