A customer has asked TraceLink to provide a dedicated Junior Technical Consultant on-site at their Gentilly, France offices for 12 months.

 

The Technical Consultant is a key resource on the project implementation team and is responsible for executing technical deliverables for customer and partner integrations in the TraceLink Life Sciences Cloud.  This role requires a combination of technical and interpersonal skills to be successful.   Specific responsibilities include:

  • Configure customer TraceLink environments using TraceLink best practices.
  • Act as level 1 support for customer’s users
  • Monitor the customer’s Info Exchange and perform troubleshooting activities
  • Maintain customer’s custom Excel based serialization database (will be trained by customer)
  • Provide subject matter expertise on TraceLink’s data interfaces.
  • Lead and perform customer testing activities such as troubleshooting, reading error messages and ensuring the expected results are delivered.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on how global government regulations impact TraceLink configurations.
  • Log bugs and product enhancements into the TraceLink tracking systems.

Essential

  • Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
  • BS/BA technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read, parse and manipulate various technical formats such as XML, EDI and CSV.
  • Working knowledge of B2B technologies such as AS2, SFTP and Web Services.
  • Highly self-motivated; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, yet also work independently on complex problems.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably within technology organizations.
  • A demonstrated understanding of when and how to be flexible, and when and how to be firm.
  • Working knowledge of MS Project, Visio and MS Office products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extremely high standards for documentation.
  • Willingness to work on-site at customer location in Gentilly, France for a minimum of 12 months

 

Desirable

  • Knowledge of supply chain business processes including distribution, logistics, warehousing and serialization.
  • Working knowledge of UNIX and/or JAVA is preferred.
  • Life Sciences experience.

For period of 12 month customer contract, employee will work 100% of the time at customer location with a maximum of 5 weeks (25 days) of vacation.

 

Location

Position will be located at customer’s offices in Gentilly, France and is accessible by RER or car.
