TraceLink Inc., the World’s Largest Track and Trace Network for connecting the life sciences supply chain and providing real-time information sharing for better patient outcomes is seeking a Senior Writer to join our rapidly growing marketing team at our worldwide headquarters in the metro-Boston area. Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, this position will be responsible for producing articles, eBooks, case studies, whitepapers, and other written materials focused on the global pharmaceutical supply chain; U.S. and EU compliance requirements; market trends and business drivers; and the competitive landscape.

You are a seasoned B2B writer with a track record of developing longer-form content that educates, drives engagement, and provokes a response. You love—love!—to tackle deep and often technical material and transform it into clear and persuasive narratives. You are comfortable starting from concept and running with it: conducting internal and external research, interviewing subject matter experts and customers, and working from transcriptions, presentations, and strategic briefs. And you have experience working for global companies and collaborating closely with both local and remote teams.

If you are looking to join an exciting, fast-moving company at the center of revolutionizing the life sciences industry and can provide examples of content you’ve produced that has been seen as successful across market segments and regions, then TraceLink wants to talk to you.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Writer’s primary focus is writing long- and short-form content that addresses complex subject matter.
  • Additional responsibilities include writing copy for lead generation campaigns, events and webinars, corporate initiatives, and sales enablement tools and presentations.
  • In addition to stellar writing skills, the preferred candidate has experience with complex topics, the discipline and pride to evaluate his or her work against high standards, and the maturity to accept detailed feedback—understanding that in a cutting-edge, industry-leading organization, the narrative changes quickly and opinions abound.
  • This position requires a self-starter who can act independently, foster collaborative and positive relationships with subject matter experts across departments and regions, grasp audience needs and expectations, and demonstrate confidence, accountability, ownership, and professional tact.
  • The Senior Writer may also be involved with video creation, conducting interviews and crafting clips from transcribed source material.
  • You will be asked to provide examples of published customer-facing writing for one or more B2B industries, industry publications, or government/academic organizations.

  • Solid time management and scheduling skills. The right candidate is well-organized and detail-oriented to meet deadlines and flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
