TraceLink is seeking an experienced Solution Marketing Manager to join our rapidly growing marketing team at our worldwide headquarters in the metro-Boston area.  Reporting to the VP of Solution Marketing, this position will be responsible for executing the go to market strategy for TraceLink’s solutions across all market segments and archetypes.  The ideal candidate will blend strategic thinking with tactical execution and be hands on creating messaging and content targeted at key personas. This role will include developing solution value narratives, competitive positioning, sales collateral and sales enablement tools and other activities related to solution launch.  This position requires cross-functional leadership across marketing, sales, product management and services. 

 

 

The candidate should have proven experience managing solution launches, developing value propositions and persona messaging.  Preferential treatment will be given to candidates with enterprise software, life sciences, healthcare or supply chain solution experience

  • Market Analysis and Competitive InsightsDevelop deep understanding of the archetype specific challenges related to our target markets
  • Monitor and assess competitor capability using as input to competitive positioning
  • Positioning and MessagingCreate solution narratives by segment, archetype and persona
  • Create and implement messaging and content including sales collateral, sales enablement tools and cost justifications
  • Product Road MapWork collaborative with product management providing Market and Product requirements that bring compelling capabilities to the market.
  • Proactively develop solution launch plans that drive market and account penetration.
  • Operate as an internal and external evangelist for TraceLink’s solutions and business benefits
  • Contribute thought leadership related to TraceLink solutions and market trends, developing and delivering presentations at vertical industry events, seminars, and conferences and effectively representing the solution and corporate brand position as the market leader.

  • 5+ years of marketing supply chain or life sciences solutions or relevant B2B enterprise software in a product marketing capacity
  • Exceptional product marketing and persuasive communication (written and oral) skills
  • Experience presenting in front of diverse groups including sales professionals, business users and executives
  • Proven track-record of developing compelling presentations and industry-targeted marketing materials, including vertical solution content and sales training materials
  • Direct customer-facing sales engagement experience, including C-level interactions
  • Proven past experience thriving in a rapidly changing environment with tight timelines that values creativity and flawless execution
  • Strong business planning and project management skills
  • Upwards of 20% global travel
  • BA or BS degree in a related field or equivalent, with MBA from top school preferred
