The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for a full range of activities which improve the productivity and operational effectiveness of TraceLink’s sales organization. Primary responsibilities focus on supporting sales management, account executives, and customer success managers. This includes but it not limited to daily SFDC support, detailed analysis of sales activity, pipeline, historical activity, etc. for the purpose of better understanding the business and driving increased revenue. This position will play a significant role in both operational support and managing relationships with all other internal departments. The ideal candidate will be process oriented, pay close attention to detail, and have superb analytical thinking skills. Additionally this role will require extensive knowledge of sales and business processes providing value-add to field sales.

  • Work with the sales teams and sales leadership to assist them in adhoc day-to-day requests/activities (reporting, forecasting, opportunity management, process, SFDC inquiries, general issues/questions, etc.)
  • Work with Sales Leaders to identify training opportunities for their specific regions
  • Assist in developing and/or improving existing business processes and best practices relating to the sales organization and the various supporting roles involved with sales
  • Help manage and administer different systems used by the sales team (e.g. LinkedIn, Zoominfo, YesWare)
  • Create and maintain a variety of reports and dashboards in SFDC (forecast, opportunities, and list views for data cleansing). Analyze data and makes recommendations to resolve gaps.
  • SFDC data cleansing and proactive monitoring of data
  • Review deals for accuracy and closing them in SFDC upon contract execution
  • Updating customer assets in SFDC
  • Reconciliation of renewal revenue between SFDC and finance system
  • Identify areas of improvement that the Sales Operations team can make to help scale the business.
  • Generate weekly metric reports and provide analysis for sales leadership
  • Reconciliation of monthly/quarterly bookings between SalesForce.com and finance systems
  • Assist Director, Sales Operations and other TraceLink leadership with various projects and strategic initiatives
  • Assist with onboarding of new sales hires and ongoing SFDC training

  • 3+ years of sales operations/support experience
  • Strong data management and analytical skills required
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point including the ability to create reports, formulas, charts, graphs and presentations
  • Must have strong attention to timeliness and detail
  • Ability to access, manipulate, analyze, trend and interpret data
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize high work volume
  • Strong proficiency with SalesForce.com
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working in a cross functional team environment
