TraceLink is seeking a full-time, experienced Solution Consulting Manager to join our team in North Reading, MA office. This is your chance to manage, lead and mentor a talented team of Solution Consultants part of the world class sales team and focused on Serialization and Track and Trace solution for the Life Sciences industry. As a market leader in track and trace solutions, Solution consultants plays a vital role not only with regard to revenue generation, but also with TraceLink’s reputation in the marketplace.


The Solution Consulting Manager is responsible for leading the US Solution Consulting team in their efforts to own the technical aspect of the sales engagement process. Solution Consulting team plays a critical role in mapping TraceLink’s solutions to our customer’s requirements and creating the business case for TraceLink’s solutions with our customers.

  • Reviewing sales opportunities and assigning team members
  • Manage, review and respond to RFP / RFI
  • Responsible for hiring and onboarding new team members for the US market
  • Responsible for providing on-going training to the team members including solution mapping, reinforcing TraceLink’s value proposition through presentations, product demonstration and proof of concepts
  • Meeting with prospects and existing customers to ensure team is achieving and exceeding expectations
  • Reviewing Solution Consulting processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Effectively measuring performance of the team and motivating the team towards excellence
  • Participating and providing oversight in high profile sales opportunities to ensure win
  • Lead the team in learning new solution and applications

This position is a highly visible position within the organization and you will routinely interact with TraceLink Senior Management, Sales Management, Product Management, Engineering and Services organizations as well as with our prospects’ senior leadership. This is a demanding role and one that comes with the potential for rapid growth personally.


  • 5+ years of experience in related discipline (Consultative value selling/pre-sales for Enterprise software and/or Life Sciences supply chain software)
  • 3+ years experience managing teams of Sales Engineers.
  • Persuasive presenter with strong written communication skills to all levels
  • Experience with supply chain and/or financial business processes, such as rebates, chargebacks, recalls, contract manufacturing, third party logistics providers, and distribution operations
  • Experience with systems integration technologies for data exchange
  • Experience with ERP and WMS solutions a plus; for example SAP/ERP, SAP/WM, Oracle/JD Edwards, JDA
  • Strong aptitude for explaining and applying advanced technologies
  • Travel 40%-50%
