    You will have had a strong hand in creating community strategies, defining and deploying the world-class infrastructure needed for a global community, and managing the day-to-day operations of a vibrant, diverse membership. This is a very hands-on, impactful role within the organization and a key opportunity for a leader who is excited about building a community team from the ground-up.

     

    Our community leader will work closely with a broadly cross-functional team encompassing Marketing, Sales, Solutions, Services and Product Management leaders from across TraceLink’s global organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Own and manage the direction and growth strategy of the TraceLink Cloud Community
    • Define Community building programs and engaging content to help drive growth of both membership and engagement
    • Initially lead the day-to-day operation of the Community and its programs while working with Marketing leadership to define the future operational staffing model
    • Establish strong connections between the internal TraceLink Community and other business or social networks where Community members live
    • Implement strong processes and procedures to effectively execute Community programs by leveraging home-grown tools and the large organic TraceLink network
    • Define and implement core KPIs to help drive visibility into Community activities and their impact
    • Drive market research (quantitative/qualitative) to analyze Community programs and operations against industry best practices
    • Develop a Community response process to ensure that questions, comments, and feedback from Community members are addressed in a timely manner
    • Establish close working relationships with key stakeholders from across the TraceLink organization to ensure alignment on Community strategy and programs

    Ensure brand consistency across Community marketing messaging

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years proven leadership and success in marketing or product management
    • 5+ years proven experience managing and growing business communities (B2B or B2C)
    • Hands-on experience implementing and managing community platforms (e.g. Lithium, Jive, Higher Logic, etc.)
    • Experience using the Marketo marketing platform a definite plus
    • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. interactive forums, ongoing engagement programs, establishing community ambassadors)
    • Ability to identify, track and analyze relevant community membership metrics based on business needs
    • Ability to synthesize and interpret community engagement and interaction patterns to highlight current performance and future opportunities
    • Familiarity with global community networks and multi-market community needs beneficial
    • Clear knowledge of on-line marketing and marketing channels best practices
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Highly motivated, business focused, and flexible – demonstrating abilities to execute on comprehensive plans and show results with attention to detail
    • Strong teams skills with demonstrated enthusiasm and ability to work in highly cross-functional, globally diverse organizations
    • Self-starter who can act independently and drive programs from conception to implementation with minimal oversight
    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field; Master’s degree in management-related field preferred
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% domestic is required.
    • Fluent in English; multi-lingual is a plus (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Korean)
