The Director of Sales Development will be responsible for providing global leadership for the Sales Development Representative to achieve revenue targets directed at new accounts. This individual will develop and implement a global strategic business plan that extends overall product and services strategies in the SDR community. The Director will be expected to build, manage and lead a Global SDR organization that manages sales for new and existing customers through the use of telephone, e-mail, and Internet, and consistently meets or exceeds sales quotas.



  • Manage employee goal setting, performance assessment, career planning and development.
  • Build, manage, mentor and retain a consultative SDR organization.
  • Develop and achieve quarterly and annual sales forecasts and plans.
  • Develop and implement repeatable, predictable SDR sales & operations processes.
  • Manage prospect pipeline for interest to close.
  • Maintain and improve a successful and positive culture that is evidenced by high employee morale and low turnover.
  • Define and report on metrics to measure performance of the SDR activities.
  • Ensure that the sales plan is aligned and supports corporate revenue and customer network growth objectives.



  • High energy, creative sales management professional with 5+ years’ experience in sales management; selling software applications.
  • Prior success building, managing and growing a Global SDR team.
  • Proven track record of screening, recruiting, hiring and developing new SDR team members.
  • Familiar with different sales methodologies; i.e. Challenger and sales tools; including SFDC and Marketo.
  • Showing past success in working in a complex/enterprise SAAS or Cloud based environment.
  • Demonstrated success selling to new customers.
